Stem Cell Foundation was founded in 2009 to support adult stem cell therapy research and development in the United States. These therapies are currently undergoing rigorous Food and Drug Administration (FDA) review.

Currently, multiple adult stem cell clinical trials are underway for the treatment of a wide range of diseases. It is anticipated that commercialization of many of these trial therapies may be available as soon as 2012.
